Jay-Z will perform the halftime show on Feb. 14, 2027 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, taking a 14-minute slot at the Super Bowl. The rapper is the co-founder of Roc Nation, which has produced the halftime performance for the NFL since 2019, and he is a decision-maker in selecting the performer. For this edition, he selected himself.
The matchup itself remains unset. The league determines the two teams playing in the Super Bowl on the last day of January, after the conference championships conclude.
Jay-Z has not announced any guest artists for the set. Performers at past halftime shows have brought other musicians on stage, and no collaborators have been confirmed for this one.
Beyoncé, whom Jay-Z married in 2018, has recorded with him on '03 Bonnie and Clyde, Crazy in Love, Drunk in Love, Part II (On the Run), Deja Vu and Lift Off, and the two have toured together. She has performed on the NFL stage before, singing the national anthem at Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2001 in Houston, joining Coldplay and Bruno Mars at halftime in 2016, and performing at the Houston Texans' Christmas Day 2024 halftime game.
Rihanna's career began under Jay-Z's watch at Def Jam Records, where he was CEO when she auditioned for him in 2005; she moved to Roc Nation in 2010. Their recordings together include Umbrella, Run This Town and FourFiveSeconds. She joined him on stage at Yankee Stadium earlier this year. She headlined the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show, during which she announced her pregnancy.
Blue Ivy Carter, the oldest child of Jay-Z and Beyoncé, danced during Beyoncé's Christmas Day 2024 halftime show in Houston and again on the Cowboy Carter tour. She has attended NFL games with her father.
Eminem performed with Jay-Z on the current tour and appeared on the track Renegade, from Jay-Z's album The Blueprint. He appeared as a guest during the 2022 Super Bowl halftime show.
Roc Nation has produced the NFL halftime show since 2019. The 2027 game is scheduled for Feb. 14, 2027 at SoFi Stadium.
